Amberland Engineering

Oliver G. Schmidt

Starting in 1982 with the vocational training as a wooden boat builder/ship carpenter, a two-year journeyman’s period, the subsequent engineering studies and the later attainment of the nautical patent as a ship’s officer/captain, I created the technical foundations on which the entirety of my thoroughly interdisciplinary specialist knowledge and all professional experience were later built. By combining the skills as an engineer and also as a navigator, I succeeded in entering the very complex tasks of the maritime service sector.
